1:30: returning to Double E

Saw my first elk last night and tonight. Unfortunately, it was at night and while driving. Had to stop completely tonight to let them finish their road crossing. Having grown up around only deer and only seeing elk in a controlled environment, they looked almost comical in the wild.

As I turned on to Hooker Loop, a herd of about 20 deer was in the middle of the road to welcome me home.
