11:15: Double E Hill. 3 mi @ 1.5 hrs; 800 ft gain; max el: 5,449 ft

I decided to take my wide-angle today. Unfortunately, nature got the memo. Ten minutes in and I see a small herd of 5 deer. Also saw some sort of weasel (I remember reading about them, but can’t remember the name).

On the way back down I saw the same herd of deer. This time, they eventually ran off. Wish I had my zoom.
